*******Will do the drawing for giveaway winner on November 1st. I forgot that part. LOL *********
Oh Mylanta! It's almost Halloween and I haven't posted since the end of July. This new change on blogger is giving my computer and me fits. Well, the weather here in AZ is finally starting to cool down, YAY! We are in the upper 80's but the mornings and evenings are beautiful!
I have done quite a bit of stitching since my last post and not sure if I have all my pics on the computer so hopefully in the next couple days I can get it updated. LOL Just don't hold me to that. ;-)
******Well let's have a giveaway for my 5th Blogoversary! Today is my blogoversary and I almost missed it! I don't know what the prize will be yet, probably something made by me (will work on it this weekend). So all you need to do is post a comment on here, please leave an email so if you are the winner I can notify you, easy peasy!***********
Well, Diane and I did our Halloween exchange in Sept when we went to St Charles for the Celebrations of Needlework retreat/shopping/fun times. We had a blast the two of us. Always an adventure driving around a town neither of us knows, you just never know where we end up. Sonic was only 3 miles from the hotel and was in the GPS and we end up 20 miles at another Sonic thanks to GPS. LOL We just laugh and go along for the ride. Here is the exchange that I stitched up for Diane (shamelessly stole Diane's pics).
And here is the exchange Diane gave to me. We did a stitched piece and we are both doing our own finishing on this one. I stitched Holey Sheet by Poppy Creations over 1. the sign is in glow in the dark braid. What a fun stitch!
Not many pictures were taken in St Charles as we did ALOT of shopping and stitching. LOL I also did receive my exchange from Jen for the Friends Stitching Through The Seasons exchange I run. She stitched Wicked freebie over 1 and made the cutest scissor fob for me along with lots of goodies.
Also for Halloween I started and finished/finished up Halloweenies by Plum Street Pudding. This was a fun quick stitch and made it into a cube finish.
Speaking of Plum Street Samplers, Paulette contacted me in late spring and asked if I could stitch up a model for her. So of course I said yes. It was just released in September called Vexation Sampler. When we were in St Charles for Celebrations we got to see the model all framed up and prettified. So, of course the dork I am took a picture with it. LOL It's the little things in life. Thanks again to Paulette for asking to me help her out, and I can honestly say I still don't know my multiplication tables. LOL
I will leave you all here for now and will get more pics uploaded to the computer hopefully this weekend. There are more Halloween finishes coming. :)
