Valentine finish, exchange rec'd and more

HI all! I have a couple small finishes to show. One is Bee Mine by Barbara Ana, it is a freebie that can be found on www.cyberstitchers.com. this was a quick one night stitch. Behind the finish is the fabric i picked for the backing of it, once i decide how to finish it. I also stitched today this cute little pumpkin BOO! this is also a free design from The Stitcherhood and can be found here www.thestitcherhood.com I stitched this one on a piece of Rust colored linen but the picture doesn't do it justice at all

I was in the Lizzie Kate exchange on the HOE board and my exchange arrived today. It is the cutest little needlebook that Pam stitched for me. I LOVE it! Along with it, Pam sent along LK's Wear a Smile pattern signed by Linda of LK, The Workbaskets frog, swan house chart from my wish list and a chocolate bar that just didn't make it to the picture, but man was it yummy!!!! I had to stick it in the fridge for a bit since it was 80 out today, it was a little melted but not bad at all until my nephew squeezed it. LOL Thank you sooo much Pam!!!

Also i heard that Amy rec'd her mattress pincushion from the MAW board that i stitched for her. It is the JBW bunny and i stitched it over 1 using red Vicki Clayton silks, Amy's favorite, bunnies and red.

I have a couple exchanges that haven't arrived at their new homes yet so will have to wait for those pics for another time.

Another exchange has landed

Well, I have heard that Carolyn has rec'd her mattress pincushion that i made for her on the Make a Wish exchange board. Carolyn asked for a mattress pincushion and likes quakers so i stitched up this freebie i found on the internet using navy blue NPI silks on lakeside linens Vintage light (i think).

Also, an update on my daughter. We found out today that she does have MS. So now we have my mother, myself and my daughter with it. It stinks, but she is coping pretty well with it along with us as well. Eventhough i am having a little harder time than others in the family but that is my job as mom. We know how to live with this disease and not to let it get us down and that is the approach she seems to have right now.

Everyone have a wonderful weekend!!!!!

Another great exchange rec'd

Yet again, another wonderful mail day for me. My 2nd wish from the Make A Wish exchange board arrived today from Lisa in Australia. I wished for a flat-fold in any design, i haven't made any flat folds and wanted to see one up close and personal. Lisa has outdone herself! It is gorgeous! It is a Lizzie Kate Christmas design and absolutely adorable!

Thank you again Lisa, i am just tickled pink!!!!

Exchanges rec'd for me

I have rec'd my first Make A Wish exchange from Terry. Terry stitched me a little quaker needlebook, my first needlebook. It is gorgeous! Terry did an awesome job on this, the stitching all around the outside is in beads. WOW! Thank you soooooo much Terry!!

I also rec'd my fair and square round #8 from Jeannie C. I like funky bright colors and Jeannie hit it right! I am currently stitching the border to make this into a biscournu. I LOVE it!

I finished up my second Make A Wish to send out to Carolyn but can't show a pic yet!

That's all for today!
