Another exchange has landed

Well, I have heard that Carolyn has rec'd her mattress pincushion that i made for her on the Make a Wish exchange board. Carolyn asked for a mattress pincushion and likes quakers so i stitched up this freebie i found on the internet using navy blue NPI silks on lakeside linens Vintage light (i think).

Also, an update on my daughter. We found out today that she does have MS. So now we have my mother, myself and my daughter with it. It stinks, but she is coping pretty well with it along with us as well. Eventhough i am having a little harder time than others in the family but that is my job as mom. We know how to live with this disease and not to let it get us down and that is the approach she seems to have right now.

Everyone have a wonderful weekend!!!!!

What a lovely mattress pincushion you made Karen. I may need your advice when I attempt one.
I am so sorry to hear the news about your daughter. I know where you are coming from. My first DH died of cancer, my two sons have inherited it and so has my granddaughter. Our two grandsons tested negative this past summer. We, as a family, have dealt with it for years. Please keep your chin up. There are new discoveries every year.

That is such a cool pincushion. Looks like fun... I may have to try to make one soon.

So sorry to hear the news about your daughter. At least she has you and your mother there for support. It always makes health issues easier when you have someone close going through the same thing.

Prayers for all of you.
With love from Phoenix.

very pretty mattress pincushion. Having met you, I would never know that you had MS. You either don't have any problems with it or you don't let it keep you down. Keep up your spirit.

I was sorry to hear your news about your daughter, but having you as her Mom will really help!
